No...she isn't the one we've been waiting for...he is.

§ When Do We Hold the Iota Alumni Association Annual Meeting For 2002?
Discussion Points included:

Saturday before Memorial Day?
Place it on the Golf Tournament Weekend? (see below)
Float until the Newsletter is published
If we hold the meeting in conjunction with the Golf Tournament each year, it may increase our turnout and add to the tournament's labor pool (not so subtle plug...oooh breakfast!)

The 2002 Full Meeting of the Iota Alumni Association Will Be Held
at a Time and Place to be Determined!
wow! we have a decision before the food gets here!

§ The Golf Tournament?
Discussion Points included:

It will now be used by the Music Department as a major fundraiser
The holes will be sponsored at a cost (probably involving $$$...)
The chapter will be hired at a flat fee for any and all labor
The inaugural tournament is apparently the Kickoff for this year's Capital Campaign
The Music Department is making a serious investment in this...
Rumors that it is to be called the Bucky Johnson Classic remain unconfirmed at press time...

§ The Newsletter?
Discussion Points included:

Jeff will coordinate the content
Sarah will coordinate the fold, stuff, and lick session
Ideally it should include a District Convention Recap, but it may be too late....
Chris will get the information/registration form to Jeff
It will cost approximately $500.00 to produce
We need to include what the Iota Alumni Association does!

§ IAA Scholarship?
Discussion ensues...:

It has been proposed (IAA Member Samuel Feuer) that we look into converting this to covering the Initiate Fees rather than providing a scholarship for a particular brother
It would raise our profile with the active chapters
Would allow the chapter and alumni to raise expectations of candidates (we paid your fees...)
Would also alleviate some of the pressures of fees on "young" unsuspecting college students

§ Epsilon Theta Alumni Association
Discussion ensues...:

We should make efforts to coordinate with them...

§ Ritual Workshop
Discussion ensues...:

We were asked to do one this fall, but times didn't work out
Moved to early winter
We should include the little brother chapters and all easily contacted Iota alumni
Jeff will coordinate, Todd Lyman will moderate

§ IAA Logo

§ District Convention

Iota is one of the host chapters
Our help is not necessary
