Summer Service Project

Which Summer?
Do we do one?
The New Director (Dr. Frank Clark) wants a lot of stuff
(Couch is undergoing a ~$750,000 renovation as a part of the current $5,000,000 Capital Campaign)
Brian Clements will offer our services to Dr. Clark

Ritual Workshop

They've all been well received
Do we keep going?
One for the fall?
Could we get Chris Haugee (Southeast District Co-Governor) or at least his presentation?
Jessi will schedule mid-winter (Time & Subject TBD)

Alumni Weekend

Keep it around? Yes.
Same Format (meeting 1 day, activity with the active the next)? Yes.

Long Term Projects

Scholarship - Canned
Commisioning Fund

Chapter has ±$4,500 with a goal of $8,000
Chapter now allocates a percentage of the bottom line to it
Offering Financial Advice is really the only relevant thing we can contribute

Newsletter

See if we qualify for non-profit mailing rates
Wat are our alternatives? Postcards? Email?
Georgia Tech Band Alumni Association? - Include the IAA Header email in the Fall GTBAA newsletter
Do we ship a postcard at ±$100.00 or a 1 page mailout for ±$200.00?

Membership Drives

How? - Mailouts, GTBAA, etc.
What do we really do? We must communicate programs like the Iota Candidate Fund
Maintain contact with the older alumni
How do we get the younger alumni to join?

Be around more?
Perform service projects that make us more visible?
Contacts?
Attend Iota Night? (Usually Monday, 7:00pm at Rocky Mountain Pizza on Hemphill Avenue)
Have the IAA monthly & annual meetings closer to campus?
Youger IAA members to focus on recruiting the current actives

Fundraising

Our current income is only dues money (not that much either...)
Do we explore working concessions gigs that the chapter can't make/is understaffed at? The chapter gets $200 or a percentage of the total sales (whichever is greater) and has gotten as much as $800 in one night
Motion to dress Fireball in drag and put him on the corner of Metropolitan and Auburn Avenues "We could get $200~$300 a night!"

Social Events

Continue the monthly gatherings - at some place not noisy & closer to campus
Softball & other kinds things with the actives
Braves games? Thrashers games?
Combined meetings with the Epsilon Theta Alumni Association on a Quarterly basis?
